| Kerry T. Bartell
Kerry concentrates her practice in the representation of condominium, homeowner, and townhome associations. She is well versed in drafting and negotiating all types of telecommunications agreements, including cable and satellite agreements. Kerry also has extensive experience with counseling association board members on other types of contracts, addressing and mediating issues with homeowners, and answering general questions about interpreting the declaration and Illinois law. Her approach is to provide association board members with practical advice, not just legal opinions, and she excels at restoring productive equilibrium within contentious association board situations. | David M. Bendoff
Dave is a highly accomplished association attorney. He has extensive experience across a wide spectrum of community association law areas. He is a frequent lecturer on Condo & HOA law and a well-respected business and civic leader. He has held positions with many business and community organizations, including Chair of the Condominium Law Subcommittee of the Chicago Bar Association, President of the Board of Directors of the Community Associations Institute – Illinois Chapter, and membership in the ACTHA (Association of Condominium, Townhouse, and Homeowners Associations). Dave has also served as a member of the Buffalo Grove Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, Secretary of the Long Grove Zoning Board of Appeals, and President of his own homeowners association. | Robert P. Nesbit

There is only one Jordan Shifrin. | Michael J. Shifrin
Michael joined the KSN Litigation Department in 2007, focusing his practice on the representation of condominium, homeowner, and townhome associations in all aspects of litigation. In 2010, Michael transitioned into the Community Association Department, drawing upon his extensive practical litigation experience to help his clients stay out of court – or, when litigation is unavoidable – to achieve favorable outcomes. Michael obtained his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2005. In law school, Michael concentrated his studies in litigation, obtaining a certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Prior to law school, Michael attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, where he graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences. While attending the University of Illinois , Michael was named a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars for his outstanding scholarship, leadership, and service.
